Send Submission to your Council's Draft Annual Plan of 2011. Most councils are accepting submissions now see here 2011 Submission Dates and Email Addresses for Councils.doc Submissions can be anything from a one line email to a 50 page document. You will also be given the option of 5 minutes to present your submission to the Council. It is of utmost importance to take action as it appears that most councillors will not do anything unless enough people voice their opposition.

Every year since 2009 FANNZ has sent a submission to every Council in NZ that has fluoridation (now only 24 out of 69).  Since 2010 we have also encouraged everyone else to do the same as for people to also present their submission in person.

Petition for Congressional investigation - Demand a new Congressional investigation in the US. Since 2003, scientists at the US Environmental Protection Agency have been calling for pro-fluoridation bureaucrats to justify their position under oath, as they refuse to debate with independent scientists, and failed to show up when EPA invited them to a scientific forum to present their evidence.

Professional Perspectives on Water Fluoridation

Medical and scientific opposition to water fluoridation has grown exponentially over the past few decades. Other Ideas for Action

Get permission of owners of land at fluoridated town and city entrances who are sympathetic to our cause to give permission to erect signs/billboards with a glass of water with skull and crossbones and the wording:

"Visitors beware: the water in this town contains toxic and carcinogenic fluoride!"

Or similar wording.

Print a small one-sided flyer with a list of fluoridated New Zealand towns and the words:

"Visitors to New Zealand beware:

The water in the towns on this list is unfit for human consumption, as neurotoxic and carcinogenic fluoride has been added to it by our corrupt government, under the pretext of preventing tooth decay." 

Volunteers should hand copies of this flyer to tourists as they arrive at the International Airport.

Get action groups in all towns going, to prevent or stop fluoridation.  Groups need to educate and put pressure on members of the local body governments (mayors and councillors) concerning the need to prevent or stop fluoridation, especially prior to local body elections, when candidates need to be made to sign a legally binding document to the
effect that they will prevent or stop fluoridation if elected. A list of councillors who have signed the pledge needs to be published by the local newspaper, along with an article about the dangers of fluoridation and a request to voters to only vote for the candidates who have signed the pledge.

Hook up strings of Christmas lights to a battery and lay out the strings to say "FLUORIDE IS POISON" or similar. Lay the strings out on the side of Mt Eden or other volcanoes visible from where major traffic passes, as it gets dark.

A skull and crossbones would be good, with the word FLUORIDE under it.
